Prima is changing its organisational structure. It is introducing new divisions: Content and Production, headed by Jan Maxa, and Product, headed by Petr Král. Josef Hladík is moving to head the Media Club radio division. The temporary head of prima+ is the group's CEO, Lukáš Kubát.
From 1 February, the Prima Group will modify its organisational structure with the aim of streamlining management, speeding up decision-making processes and strengthening cooperation between individual platforms. The changes are intended to enable the group to respond more flexibly to the changing behaviour of viewers and listeners and to better develop content and product segments, it said on Wednesday afternoon.
A new addition is the creation of a Content and Production division, which will unify content strategy, development, and production across the group. Jan Maxa, the current director of the Prima group's VOD segment, will head the division. Lenka Hornová, responsible for fiction, Samo Jaško, responsible for R&E, and Lucie Kršáková, responsible for production, will remain on the team. The new division is intended to strengthen the connection between creativity and technology and contribute to greater efficiency and predictability in production while maintaining creative quality.
The prima+ platform remains one of the main pillars of the group's further development. Following Jan Maxa's move to his new role, the group's executive director Lukáš Kubát will temporarily take over its management until a new leader is appointed.
Another change is the creation of the Product division, which will be led by the current head of Distribution & OTT, Petr Král. Under his leadership, product development and distribution will be linked with the aim of ensuring a technologically unified environment for Prima Group content across VOD, online media and radio.
The personnel changes will also affect the Media Club sales agency. Josef Hladík will take over the management of the radio division from Martin Kašpárek, while Michaela Lavičková will head the team of key account managers.
According to the group's management, the organisational changes are intended to contribute to greater unity of the Prima brand and enable more effective development of television, digital and radio activities in a changing media market.
