Prima says its upcoming prima+ miniseries My nejsme sekta will be a fictional story inspired by Czech and international cases, not a reconstruction of any specific cult case, a positioning aimed at addressing the subject’s sensitivity. Jan Maxa said the project, led by writer-director Andrea Sedláčková and developed from publicly available sources, will examine the mechanics of cult influence and manipulation. The broadcaster is also in intensive talks about new episodes of Polda, while signaling a broader programming strategy that prioritizes episodic crime on Wednesdays and keeps premium prima+ titles off linear TV until much later.
