The record-breaking CzechPR Awardshas announced its finalists. A total of 116 projects have made it onto the shortlist from 350 entries, with Svengali Communications and TV Nova receiving the most nominations.

The Czech PR Awards has published the shortlist for its 21st edition. From a record number of entries, the expert jury selected 116 projects that will compete for the Lemur award across 24 categories. The winners will be announced on 4 June at a gala evening at the Prague Planetarium.

The competition, organised by the Public Relations Association (APRA), has attracted significant interest this year. A total of 350 projects were submitted, from which a jury of 90 experts selected a shortlist.

The agencies with the best chance of winning awards are Svengali Communications with 11 nominations and TV Nova with nine. Havas PR and AC&C Public Relations each received six nominations.

Among the individual projects, the initiative “Young Blood in Parliament: 30 Under 30” by Svengali Communications leads with seven nominations. This is followed by the project “Cupra Terramar SUV in the waves beneath Charles Bridge” by AC&C Public Relations with five nominations, and the student campaign “Is Brno a village? Yes! Traditional Costumes Come to Life”, submitted by Lesensky.cz, with four.

The most projects made it onto the shortlist in the category of long-term reputation or brand building, where the jury selected seven finalists. Categories focusing on social responsibility, sustainability, B2C communication, information campaigns and integrated communication each have six nominations.

The evening will also feature the presentation of the PR Personality of the Year award, which the Public Relations Association is presenting for the third time. The award is intended for people outside the industry who use communication professionally to fulfil their mission. Last year, it was won by doctor and paramedic Marek Dvořák.

APRA Executive Director Marek Hlavica explained that this year’s selection of the winner has been supplemented by a media profile analysis, prepared in collaboration with Newton Media.

The gala evening will take place on 4 June 2026 at the Planetarium in Stromovka, where prizes will be awarded in all 24 categories, as well as the main award for the best project across the competition. The evening will be hosted by Soňa Baranová and Ondřej Blaho, well-known from Czech Television.

Tickets for the gala evening are available to purchase here from today. An overview of the shortlisted entries can be found here.
