Czech Christmas campaigns ride the holiday wave, celebrating moments together, being in the present and holiday peace.
This year, Czech Christmas ads are riding a more serious wave. Pilsner Urquell celebrates recurring rituals with loved ones, Bernard encourages peace, Rohlik encourages living in the present, Albert thanks Santa Claus for his gifts and Footshop emphasises the need for individuality. Penny, for example, approached the holidays with humour. And Prague Airport has prepared a new Christmas song, among other things, from the sounds of airport traffic. Here is a selection of this year's Christmas campaigns from the country.
Pilsner Urquell is developing its communication concept "The Art of Not Changing" for Christmas . With the "Unchanging Taste of Christmas" campaign, it celebrates the shared moments, the small, profound moments that people experience every year, and also "the taste of pilsner that remains the same and therefore so close". The campaign is signed by the B&T agency.
With its Christmas campaign, Fodinny Brewery Bernard encourages people to find peace in hectic times. In collaboration with director Jiří Mádl, the commercial spot uses small moments of family to create a peaceful atmosphere of family togetherness, cooperation, joy and tolerance amidst the general hustle and bustle around us.
This year, Penny also casts the duo of Michal Suchánek and Richard Genzer, who this time lend their voices to two carp. Together, they solve typical "fishy" Christmas dilemmas - from pondering what fish to have for Christmas dinner to bizarre situations such as working out for a possible escape. The creative is by the in-house team in collaboration with Leo Burnett agency.
Albert shows with the campaign that even food can become a personal gift for those who make Christmas Christmas. In order to promote its private label brand, Albert Excellent tells the story of a little girl who gives food to the one person she can't imagine Christmas without - Father Christmas. The creative is created by VCCP agency.
Rohlik is building a Christmas campaign called "Almost. Not This Time." on the need for presence, closeness and real moments during the holiday season. It reminds us that all year long we rush and miss the moments that really matter. The ad was created entirely using artificial intelligence.
Czech streetwear brand Footshop is celebrating with a campaign claiming "Your Christmas. Your Rules" celebrates love and individuality. It tells the story of a daughter who invites her parents to her home for Christmas and they "can't stop wondering". The creative was created by YYY agency.
Škoda Auto builds its Christmas campaign on the theme of small gestures that linger in the memory. It builds on this year's year-long communication celebrating the "eŠ generation" - all those who have experienced something with Škoda cars throughout their lives. The campaign was prepared by the Zaraguza agency.
For Christmas,Prague Airport has created a new Christmas song, whose tones are intertwined with the authentic sounds of airport traffic. It can be heard, among other things, in radio spots.
In the campaign, Vodafone is offering "double joy" from everything that belongs to Christmas: from trees to snowmen to the telephone. The campaign was prepared by McCann Prague.
O2' s Christmas offer is based on gifts for one crown, and the campaign is visually dominated by a golden crown. It builds on everyday life situations where the right gift can both delight and help - whether it's a tablet for work video calls or an O2 tag that can be used to find forgotten items. The creative comes from Free Andy Agency.
