The Oneplay streaming platform has launched a new ‘Coming Soon’ section, which provides an overview of upcoming titles. It has modelled its approach to showcasing upcoming content on that of international services, giving viewers the chance to explore forthcoming releases.
Individual titles are primarily displayed in a classic vertical poster format. In the top right-hand corner of each preview is a label showing the specific release date. This means users can see at a glance exactly when a particular film or programme will be available on the platform. The selection includes both Czech and foreign films, as well as TV series and entertainment programmes.
When a specific title is selected, its preview interactively changes from a poster format to a wider rectangular one. The expanded card then displays additional information about the title. Users can find details such as genre, country of origin, running time and a brief plot summary. Information about the cast is also included, such as the name of the lead actor.
The ‘Coming Soon’ section currently features a range of forthcoming films and programmes. Among the planned titles are, for example, Dablér, Flashdance, Vrána (2024 version), Anatomie pádu and Terminál. There are also well-known Czech titles such as Panoptikum Města pražského and a new series of Jáma lvová. The list also includes the entertainment show Možné je všechno! and sports programmes such as Nová éra boxu.
