According to the latest ranking by the analytics firm Recma, the media agency Knowlimits has retained its position as the largest media agency on the Czech market. In the 2025 assessment, it recorded total turnover of €285 million and a market share of 15.9 per cent. It is followed by OMD and PHD, both part of the Omnicom Media Group. Fourth place goes to EssenceMediacom (WPP Media). These four agencies remain in the top five. The only change in the top five is Mindsquared (non-network), which took fifth place.
The ranking is based on the ‘Overall Activity’ indicator, which Recma uses to compare the size of media agencies across markets. In addition to traditional media investments, it also includes digital services, performance marketing, influencer marketing, content projects, data analytics, e-commerce activities and the coordination of international client accounts.
The methodology takes into account not only media billing but also an estimate of so-called integrated expenditure – that is, activities not captured by standard monitoring of advertising investment. In calculating these figures, Recma analyses the agencies’ client portfolios and the structure of their services.
