Prima appoints director for VOD and non-advertising revenue, Jan Wykrytowicz joins the company.
The Prima Group is filling a new management position in the field of digital services. From 1 April, media manager Jan Wykrytowicz, who has more than fifteen years of experience in the international media environment and the streaming services segment, will become director for VOD and non-advertising revenue.
In his new role , he will be responsible for the further development of the prima+ video library , digital content business models and the monetisation of non-advertising revenue. He will focus primarily on subscription services, digital products and strategic partnerships. His agenda will also include new distribution opportunities for digital content.
"I consider Jan Wykrytowicz to be one of the leading experts on OTT services in our region. I have been following his professional career at TVN and Go3 for a long time and I am very pleased that he is now joining our team," said Lukáš Kubát, CEO of the Prima Group. He added that the group's goal is to further develop the prima+ platform and strengthen non-advertising revenue sources.
For Wykrytowicz, joining the Prima Group is a new professional challenge. Jan Wykrytowicz has more than fifteen years of experience in the media, pay TV and streaming platforms. He has held senior positions at Canal+ and TVN in Poland, as well as at TV3 Group in the Baltic countries. As CEO of the Go3 platform, he led a pan-Baltic OTT service operating in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. During his tenure, the platform developed partnerships with global content providers such as Warner Bros. Discovery, Netflix and Paramount. Its offering also included premium sports content, including UEFA and FIFA competitions, the English Premier League, NBA, NHL, Formula 1 and Euroleague.
