With Christmas approaching, media group Nova is coming to its viewers with a redesigned version of HbbTV free archive available via the red button.
Nova viewers can find the redesigned TV archive under the "TV Archive" tile in the HbbTV menu on each of the TV group's channels. The viewer will not miss its new look, as TV Nova has prominently branded this graphic element as Novelty. The Nova.cz archive had practically the same graphic background as the other applications available in HbbTV from the beginning, but this is now changing. The new visuals have a more modern feel at first glance, dominated by the colour black.
TV Nova now uses the same menu in the HbbTV application as in the competing Prima, i.e. vertically oriented icons, which, when the user navigates to them, will see their word labels. These are the items Search, Home, Shows, Missed on TV and TV Program. It is the last item that has also undergone a graphical transformation, which now corresponds to the form familiar from the Voyo application. It is possible to scroll backwards or forwards in the EPG and, if necessary, play shows in the premium video library.
