Zlatý středník has announced the finalists for its 23rd annual awards. MSL Czech Republic received the most nominations, while Jsme Fér and Plzeňský Prazdroj received the most nominations from clients.
The competition for communication projects and corporate media, Zlatý středník, organised by the Association for Strategic Communication and Public Relations (ASCOPA), announces the finalists of the 23rd edition. The shortlists were ceremoniously presented on 25 June at the PressCentrum ČTK.
Out of a total of 642 entries in 20 main and 9 specialist categories, 174 works advanced to the final. Among the most successful clients, who received five nominations, are the Jsme Fér initiative and Plzeňský Prazdroj. The agency MSL Czech Republic has ten irons in the fire. The winners will be announced on Thursday, 11 September, at Empire Hall in Slovanský dům in Prague.
This year, the entries were evaluated by 141 judges in 18 juries between May and June. The main category, ‘Social Responsibility, Sustainability and ESG’, received the most entries, followed by the categories “Event” and ‘Integrated Campaign’. The industry categories were dominated by ‘Non-profit Sector,’ followed by ‘Sports, Entertainment, Arts, Media, Tourism and Gastronomy’ and ‘Industry, Engineering and Energy.’ Thirty-four Slovak projects also made it to the finals this year, which is an increase from last year.
During the gala evening, the winners of each category will be announced and the Top Rated awards will be presented for exceptional projects. Once again, the Grand Prix will be awarded in six categories: Project of the Year, Best Agency, Talent, PR Personality, Effectiveness Measurement and, newly, Responsible Communication. This new category recognises campaigns that fulfil a responsible role and have a positive social impact through communication. The best of this year's finalists will also advance to the World Public Relations & Communication Awards.
