The own romantic-historical series with fantasy elements is the first ever in the Prima Group's offer. It will be launched in autumn under the title Eliška a Damián.
Prima Television will launch a new romantic series Eliska and Damián in the autumn to mark its 30th anniversary on Tuesday 20 June 2023. The main roles will be played by Emma Smetana and Robert Urban. It is the first announced new series from the TV group for this autumn and the first original romantic-historical series with fantasy elements that Prima is developing.
The series will also feature Anežka Rusevová, Anna Dvořáková, Jan Komínek, Petr Buchta, Milan Šteindler, Michaela Kuklová, Dana Syslová and many other familiar faces.
The main character Eliška, played by Emma Smetana, lives in the present day, while Damián, played by Robert Urban, comes from 1758. Thanks to a randomly created elixir, Damián begins to travel through time, and more and more often his paths begin to intersect with Eliška's. Sympathy gradually develops between the protagonists. But both main characters will have to defy their fate. Damián is about to get engaged to the Prussian princess Frederika (Anežka Rusevová) and Eliška has to take care of the marmalade factory she has inherited.
