The first collaboration between Oneplay Sport and Nova Sport will bring all matches from the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. It will take place from 15 June to 13 July.

The Nova Group has acquired the broadcasting rights for Czech viewers for this year's FIFA Club World Cup 2025. The Oneplay Sport and Nova Sport channels will broadcast more than 60 live matches from this prestigious tournament, from the group stages to the final. It will be broadcast on the channels Oneplay Sport 1, Oneplay Sport 4, Nova Sport 3 and Nova Sport 6. It will start on 15 June and last until 13 July.

For the first time in history, the Club World Cup will be played in an extended format with 32 teams and will take place during a period when no other league or club competitions are being held. Teams participating include Real Madrid, Manchester City, Inter Milan, Bayern Munich, PSG and Inter Miami with Lionel Messi.

"We will provide maximum TV coverage of the Club World Cup, including all matches featuring the best clubs from Europe, America, Asia and other regions. What's more, it fits perfectly into our programming schedule. The final is scheduled for 13 July, just one week before the start of the new Chance Liga season. This means that Oneplay viewers can watch top-class football practically without interruption,‘ says Anna Lenerová, Director of Sports Content Acquisition and Pay Channels at TV Nova.

’We plan to involve our entire editorial team, which has experience in broadcasting domestic and international football. It is a big plus for Czech fans that many of the matches will be played at ideal evening times. For example, the semi-finals and finals will start at 9 p.m.," added Marek Kindernay, executive director of Oneplay Sport.

The tournament will feature eight groups of four teams. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage. The tournament will be played at twelve stadiums in eleven cities across the United States. The final will be hosted by the iconic MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The opening ceremony will feature a performance by Robbie Williams, global music star and ambassador of the tournament. The official song is ‘Freed from Desire’ by Italian singer Gala.

The winning team will receive a prize of up to $125 million, the highest financial reward in club championship history. By comparison, the winner of the UEFA Champions League receives approximately $85 million.
