The Oneplay service has also started offering podcasts. Their introduction is one of the platform’s June updates. The process for entering the parental PIN when programmes play automatically has also been revised, and more detailed statistics have been added for Formula 1 races.
Podcasts can be found in the News section, which is accessible from the home page. If a user plays them in the Oneplay mobile app, they will continue to play even when the phone’s screen is locked (just like on Spotify, for example).
The current selection includes the podcasts *Rozstřel*, *Odkryto.cz: Tajná složka*, *Money Maker*, *Klub rváčů*, *Kontakt tam byl* and *Růžička & Vořechovský*. As well as appearing in a dedicated section, they also feature amongst other programmes in the relevant genre categories (for example, in the ‘Current Affairs’ category).
Another change concerns entering a PIN for age-restricted content. Oneplay will no longer require the PIN to be re-entered during automatic playback, provided the next programme does not have a higher restriction level. For example, if a user has entered a PIN for content rated 12, they will not need to re-enter it for the next programme with the same or a lower rating. However, when switching to content rated 15, the verification will remain in place.
The platform is also expanding its Formula 1 sports service. It is adding detailed statistics to the player and the competition details page. Viewers of the NHL, the Chance League and the Tipsport Extraliga are already familiar with a similar service.
