Viewers who have access to HbbTV technology can now watch posts from social networks directly on their TV screen via the Social TV app, including TikTok. It is possible to view posts, photos and videos from TikTok. Another new feature is the yellow button that will launch trailers for viewers.
TV Nova sees HbbTV as an ever-evolving technology with great potential.
"The SocialTV app allows users to watch social media posts without having to register on Instagram or TikTok. The current connection with the Praha - Den & noc project is an example of synergy, where we offer viewers social content also on the TV screen. Viewers can see in real time what is happening on social networks of the participants of the reality show. I believe that soon the SocialTV app will also find favour with TV Nova's business partners, who can extend their social networks to the TV screen,”

The offer of HbbTV technology is gradually expanding, the SocialTV app complements the services of Voyo, TN Live, TV Archive, Nova Lady and others. Currently, 2.4 million viewers see the red button on Nova Group stations.
