COLOURS OF OSTRAVA TO WELCOME NEW BRAND ACTIVATIONS

This year, the Colours of Ostrava Festival is expanding its collaboration with brands that are setting up their own experience zones on the festival site. New main partner Allegro will present the Wishlist Zone, whilst Decathlon will be taking part for the first time and Tic Tac will build on last year’s initiative with an expanded programme.

This year’s Colours of Ostrava Festival kicks off with a new main partner on board. Allegro has created a dedicated space for visitors to the Dolní Vítkovice site called the Allegro Wishlist Zone, which combines elements of relaxation, creativity and entertainment.

The 23 × 10-metre zone has been set up near the main entrance on the main festival route. The two-storey space will host a programme from Wednesday to Saturday and, according to Allegro, is designed to meet visitors’ needs throughout the festival day.

“Our concept is based on the idea that Allegro is a place where people can find everything they need at any given moment. That’s why, in the Allegro Wishlist Zone, we’ve brought together activities centred on style, relaxation, creativity and entertainment,” said Julija Jermašova, Brand Management Expert at Allegro.

Decathlon is a partner for the first time this year

Decathlon is partnering with the Colours of Ostrava music festival for the first time this year. Within the festival grounds, it will create its own Decathlon Playground zone, offering sporting activities, relaxation facilities and a supporting programme.

The zone will feature, for example, darts, basketball tic-tac-toe, cornhole and sports challenges with the brand’s ambassadors. The programme will be complemented by daily exercise classes, and there will also be a Social Run with running ambassador Janis Mach. Participants in the sports challenges can win vouchers for sports equipment.

“Our aim is to show that sport is a natural part of life, even against the backdrop of a music festival. We’ve designed the Decathlon Playground so that there’s something for everyone – from active sportspeople to those just looking for a moment’s peace,” says Petra Píšová, project manager at Decathlon Czech Republic.

Tic Tac expands its campaign and unveils a new product

The Tic Tac brand will continue its partnership with the Colours of Ostrava festival this year as part of its ‘Refresh your Summer’ summer campaign. Following last year’s debut of its festival activation, it will expand its presence at the event this year and use it to launch its new product, Tic Tac Two.

According to the brand, last year’s festival zone attracted tens of thousands of visitors over four days. Nearly half a million product samples were handed out, and thousands of people took part in the competition activities. Based on these results, Tic Tac has decided to double the size of this year’s zone.

The programme will include tastings of Tic Tac’s fruit flavours and the new Tic Tac Two, a ‘wheel of fortune’ competition, an interactive game with a Tic Tac Two vending machine, a photo booth, a festival swing and glitter make-up. Creative activities linked specifically to the launch of Tic Tac Two are also set to be a new feature.

“Last year’s response from visitors confirmed to us that it makes sense to develop this campaign further. This year, we are therefore significantly expanding the zone and linking it to the launch of the new Tic Tac Two,” said Daniela Valenta, brand manager for Tic Tac.
