TV Nova’s Voyo is now the second most popular streaming service in the Czech Republic after Netflix.
Quoting a new study by Behavio Labs, Media Guru reports that its brand awareness stands at 88%, behind Netflix (89%) but ahead of Disney+ (81%), O2 TV (77%), HBO Max (71%) and Amazon Prime (40%).
Jakub Folauf, head of brand marketing at TV Nova, said: “Our internal data confirms that Voyo is number two and is more and more on Netflix’s heels, not only in terms of brand awareness in the market, but also in the number of subscribers. The goal is, of course, to become number one”.
Broadband TV News notes that TV Nova is owned by CME’s PPF Group. Voyo is also present in CME’s other markets across Central and Eastern Europe.
