The campaign “How We Doubled the Paralympics Viewership in Czechia” for the Czech Paralympic Committee received nominations in the Media, Entertainment, Sports & Leisure and Positive Change – Non-profit categories.
In the Beverage category, the campaign “Reinventing Beer in the Country That Defined It”, created by VCCP Prague in collaboration with Publicis Groupe and other partners for Plzeňský Prazdroj’s Proud brand, made it through to the final.
Triad Prague secured a nomination with the campaign “Hey, a Bike! The Two Words That Taught Drivers to See Motorcycles”, which it created for BESIP and the Czech Insurance Association. The project has reached the final of the Positive Change: Social Good – Non-Profit category.
The sixth Czech nomination went to the agency Good Game (GGWP). Its campaign “KB and Mastercard: How the Cha-ching Campaign Delivered Record Client Acquisition”, created for Komerční banka and Mastercard, was successful in the Services category.
According to the organisers, the competition’s 30th anniversary edition saw the highest number of entries in its history. A total of 132 projects reached the final, of which 70 were in the Best of Europe categories, 31 in the Multi-Market categories and a further 31 in the special categories. The categories that attracted the most interest were Positive Change and Sustained Success, which assess the social impact of marketing communications and the long-term performance of brands.
Almost 350 experts from 33 countries were involved in judging the entries. The winners of the Effie Awards Europe 2026 will be announced on 3 December at a gala evening in Brussels. The competition is organised by the European Association of Communications Agencies (EACA).
