NADA: ČEDOK IS THE BEST-KNOWN TRAVEL AGENCY, TUI INVESTS THE MOST IN ADVERTISING

According to monitoring, TUI had the highest investment in media advertising among travel agencies last year. According to NADA research, Čedok is the best-known brand, with Invia moving into second place.

In the travel agency segment, the brand that advertised the most in 2024 was TUI, which entered the Czech market in the summer of 2023 and is using these expenditures to build a stronger position in the minds of the Czech population. This is indicated by its total annual investment in advertising at list prices of over CZK 234 million. According to the amount of investment, the travel agency Blue Style ranks second, followed closely by Invia.

Both brands recorded a strong year-on-year increase in brand awareness among respondents, with Invia moving up to second place in the awareness rankings. Thanks to its high spending, the Blue Style brand caught up with its closest competitors and managed to approach the 90% mark in brand awareness among Czech respondents. Čedok remains the best known brand. This is according to data from NADA Research and Nielsen.

"Despite lower advertising expenditure, the Čedok brand remains the undisputed leader among travel agencies in terms of brand awareness. Further growth in brand awareness for Blue Style and Invia can be expected in the coming years. It is not out of the question that the new TUI brand will also appear in the TOP 5 ranking in terms of awareness in the coming years if it continues to maintain a similar level of advertising investment," adds Martin Chalupník from NADA Research.
