JAN VLČEK WILL LEAVE THE LEADERSHIP OF CME AT THE END OF MARCH

After 13 years, Jan Vlček will leave the CME Group and the Nova TV Group. He will leave the management of CME at the end of March.

Jan Vlček will leave his current role as Group Revenue Chief at CME at the end of March. He will move to the position at the end of 2022 from his position as CEO of TV Nova. Vlček's departure was announced by CME Group on Wednesday afternoon.

Jan Vlček joined TV Nova's media group in 2011, starting out as chief commercial officer. will thus open a new professional stage after more than a decade of successful cooperation with the media group. In June 2019, he became co-CEO of TV Nova together with Klara Brachtlova. He also held the position of managing director of TV Nova.

It is not yet known where Jan Vlček's next professional steps will lead. After handing over the post at the end of March, he plans to take a few months of rest, he told MediaGuru.cz.
"During his twelve-year tenure at CME, he contributed significantly to the success of TV Nova and the entire CME Group. As co-CEO of TV Nova, Jan Vlček set the core strategy for advertising sales and built strong client relationships across CME markets. His contribution was crucial even during the period when the broadcaster faced the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic,"

CME said.

In contrast, Vladimír Mužík joins CME as director of digital transformation for news formats across CME's six countries.
