The Voyo app has over 570 thousand subscribers on the Czech and Slovak market. This was announced by CEO Daniel Grunt at the press conference for the autumn programme of TV Nova.
From January to the end of June, the app gained 100 thousand new paying users, the TV Nova director added.
In autumn, Voyo will offer several content novelties of different genres. These will include the six-part spy thriller Extractors starring Jakub Štáfek, a dramatic fight for justice in the three-part miniseries Mathematics of Crime, as well as another series of the reality show Love Island. The Sex O'Clock series will also have a new series, and The Rose Garden continues.
Voyo will also be the primary platform for reality show Big Brother, which Nova will return to after 18 years. "It's a project mainly for Voyo, we will launch it in combination with a thematic station, similar to what we did with Love Island," programme director Silvia Majeská added at a press conference when asked by Mediar. The programming scheme of the main channel does not include Big Brother.
