Prima and CNN Prima News are changing the presenting duos on their main news programmes. Terezie Tománková and Petr Suchoň, as well as Eva Perkausová and Roman Šebrle, will return to the main news programme. The changes are linked to the launch of the new programmes ‘Sport News’ and ‘News Centre’.

The Main News on Prima and CNN Prima News will feature two new presenting duos. Terezie Tománková will return to the main news programme, presenting alongside Petr Suchoň. Eva Perkausová and Roman Šebrle will also return to the screen together. The new pairs will be introduced in the coming weeks and will join the existing presenters, Klára Doležalová and Karel Voříšek.

The changes are linked to the expansion of both channels’ news programming. Prima is now broadcasting ‘Sport News’ every day at 7.45 pm, whilst CNN Prima News airs ‘News Centre’ at the same time. Roman Šebrle’s previous co-presenter, Soňa Porupková, is moving to the new programme, which she will present alongside Lucie Čermáková and Petr Převrátil.

According to Tomáš Vojáček, editor-in-chief of news and current affairs at CNN Prima News, the television station has been preparing both new programmes for several months. He described Terezie Tománková’s return as an opportunity to build on her previous collaboration with Petr Suchoň, with whom she co-presented pre-election debates and special programmes.

Terezie Tománková said that she initially considered the offer, but was ultimately persuaded by the chance to return to the main news programme. “I must admit that the offer to return to the Main News programme surprised me at first. But I love news reporting, and the chance to be part of the team that prepares the news both out in the field and in the newsroom, and then to deliver that vital information to viewers alongside Petr Suchoň, won me over. I realised that this is what I really want. Petr and I have worked brilliantly together over the years, and for me it will be a bit of a return to my roots in television and presenting,” she said.

Petr Suchoň pointed out that in the past they had co-presented a number of major events and hosted *Hlavní zprávy* for several months. “Terezie is the biggest star in news broadcasting and an inspiring professional. Her return to *Hlavní zprávy* strikes me as a completely natural step,” he added.

Sports news on Prima focuses on sporting results and social developments within the world of sport. It is presented by Lucie Šlégrová, Klára Kováčová and Radka Rosická, all of whom have experience in the sporting world.

The news centre at CNN Prima News was established in collaboration with CNN International. The channel intends to utilise the analytical capabilities of its news studio in the programme. It is set to focus on current affairs and feature journalism.
