The third series of Docent (ČT1) was the most-watched television programme in September this year. The episode broadcast on 20 September attracted an average audience of 1.6 million viewers aged 15 and over, achieving an audience share of more than 38%. All three episodes of the third series topped the ratings in September (only the most-watched episode is included in our overview). They were followed by Kriminálka Anděl (Nova) and Televizní noviny (Nova). These programmes also attracted audiences of more than one million viewers. This is according to official ATO audience measurement data for September 2026.
Czech Television retained the highest all-day audience share among viewers aged 15 and over in September (28.48%), increasing its share by 0.6 percentage points year on year. Nova Group recorded the highest audience share in the 15-54 and 18-69 age groups. It maintained its year-on-year performance in the former category and increased its share in the latter by 0.47 percentage points. Nova Group also achieved the highest audience shares in prime time across all monitored audience demographics, improving its year-on-year performance.
Among individual channels, ČT1 recorded one of the strongest year-on-year improvements in September, gaining 0.6 percentage points to reach a 16.02% audience share among viewers aged 15 and over. Nova Cinema also performed well, increasing its share by 0.33 percentage points to 3.43%, as did Prima Love, which gained 0.2 percentage points to reach 2.22%. All figures refer to the 15+ audience demographic.
