This year’s global line-up brings together a diverse group of experts representing the full spectrum of disciplines across the creative industry. This year’s jury features significantly stronger representation from the Pacific and African regions, including the very first jurors from Ethiopia, Namibia and Zimbabwe, as well as more than 40 independent agencies appearing on the jury for the first time. Another significant milestone is HumanSense, an independent agency representing the very first Cannes Lions judge from Sri Lanka.
“The shortlist jury plays a vital role in the awards. Their work in recognising groundbreaking creativity sets the standard of excellence that the festival celebrates. This year’s line-up brings together an exceptional range of talent across different specialisms and markets. Their unique experience will ensure that the shortlist represents innovative work that moves the entire industry forward. We thank our jurors for the time and effort they have dedicated to selecting the work that will set the global creative standard for the coming year,”
said Simon Cook, CEO of LIONS, commenting on this year’s jury line-up.
The list of judges selected to choose the finalists is available on the festival website.
The 73rd edition of the festival takes place from 22 to 26 June in Cannes, France. Information on tickets can be found at www.canneslions.com.
