Skylink platform users can now watch all Nova Sport sports channels. Oneplay platform viewers now have access to all Canal+ Sport sports channels.
Canal+ Group, TV Nova, and TV Markíza have signed a new agreement to make all their sports channels available to each other. Oneplay users in the Czech Republic and Voyo users in Slovakia now have access to all English Premier League matches and broadcasts from the WTA women's tennis tour in selected tariffs. On the other hand, customers of the Skylink and freeSAT television platforms, operated by the Canal+ group, will be able to enjoy the complete Nova Sport program offering.
"We are very pleased to announce the addition of Nova Sport 6 to our offering. Our viewers will now be able to watch MotoGP races, Champions League football matches, UFC tournaments and many other attractive sports broadcasts," said Ladislav Řeháček, VP of Canal+ Luxembourg for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Canal+ currently holds the broadcasting rights for the English Premier League, the WTA women's tennis tour, the French Top 14 rugby league, and the World Padel Tour.
"Sport is one of the key pillars of live broadcasting. We are therefore delighted that this agreement will bring high-quality competitions to an even wider audience, bringing them joy, excitement and more shared moments," explains Dušan Mendel, Head of Sports at TV Nova.
The agreement will result in the aforementioned addition of Nova Sport 6 to the Skylink and freeSat (from the Kombi+ package and higher), thus completing the Nova Sport channel portfolio. Oneplay will add all Canal+ Sport sports channels at the end of July. The complete offer applies to the Maximum package (WTA, Premier League), while WTA broadcasts can be watched by users of the Extra Sport package.
