According to Recma' s ranking for 2024, Knowlimits remained the strongest media agency in the Czech Republic in terms of Overall Activity Volume. According to the ranking, its volume was expected to amount to EUR 314 million and grow by 14% year-on-year. This is followed by OMD with EUR 282 million and PHD with EUR 221 million. Both belong to the Omnicom Media Group. The top five also includes EssenceMediacom (WPP Media) and Carat (Dentsu).

Compared to last year's ranking, the representation of the top five agencies has not changed.
Recma has granted MediaGuru.cz permission to publish the results for the top five media agencies. For this reason, we do not publish the full rankings or the table with the results of the media agency networks. However, the ranking of individual media agencies shows that Omnicom Media Group remains the strongest network ahead of WPP Media, with Dentsu in third position.
The media market grew by 10%
According to this year's Recma report, the Czech media agency market will reach a volume of EUR 1.9 billion in 2024. Compared to the previous year, this means an increase of 10%, while over the last three years the market has grown by 57%.
In the scope under review, which includes six international media groups and three large local agencies (Knowlimits, Mindsquared and Mediaplus), traditional media account for around €1.3 billion (i.e. 68%). Activities such as digital, data and content - account for an average of one third of the total volume.
Agency Médea was excluded from this year's ranking due to lack of information.
Recma also pointed out that major client shifts (e.g. Lego, Allegro, Fast, Henkel or Mattoni 1873) that occurred between 2024 and 2025 have not yet had an impact on the overall agency ranking.
Comvergence also released its ranking of media agencies and their networks in early July.
