After more than a year of preparations, construction of the new Oneplay Sport studio and production centre began in January.

The new Oneplay Sport facility is being built in the basement of the Stages Hotel, located in the immediate vicinity of Prague's O2 Arena. The dominant feature of the entire space will be a panoramic 4K LED wall with an area of 45 square metres, which is designed to provide a powerful visual experience. Another new feature will be an auditorium with a capacity of up to 80 spectators, which will allow direct interaction with the audience during filming.

The investment aims to significantly increase the level of broadcasting of Oneplay Sport's pay-TV channels and offer fans a more modern view of sporting events. The modernised premises will primarily be used for accompanying programmes for key competitions, such as the Chance Liga football league, the Tipsport Extraliga ice hockey league and the domestic MOL Cup. The Tiki-Taka talk show and other programmes produced by Oneplay Sport will also find a new home here.

However, the centre's capacity and equipment will also be used for purposes other than television production, such as press conferences. The studio is designed to meet the needs of commercial events and film screenings. Channel director Marek Kindernay believes that this ambitious step will once again significantly improve the overall quality of the viewing experience.

According to Kindernay, the entire project is the result of long-term planning and efforts to keep pace with global trends in sports production. If construction work proceeds according to schedule, everything should be completely ready for operation in July of this year.
