Oneplay has made a change to its TV channel lineup, removing Canal+ Action and adding Retro Music TV. At the same time, Slovak news channel TA3 has been switched to high definition.
The removal of Canal+ Action follows the addition of the entire Canal+ Sport portfolio, which offers the English Premier League and WTA tennis. This move can be seen as logical, as the channel had become essentially redundant for customers given the extensive video library (among other things) of action titles available directly on Oneplay. The removal of the channel may also have resulted in cost savings under distribution agreements.
Retro Music TV has reappeared for Oneplay customers on channel 145 and is available in the Extra Zábava, Extra Sport, and Maximum packages. It is not included in the basic Komfort package, which offers 59 channels for CZK 199 per month. The channel is unique on the market in that it broadcasts only in standard definition, even though its direct competitor, Óčko Star, has been offering HD quality for several years.
As part of the current program changes, the picture quality of the Slovak news channel TA3 has also been improved. It is now available in HD resolution and has replaced the previous SD version of this program on channel 162. This resolution is listed, for example, in the original PDF document with the channel list that Oneplay has on its website.
