MEDIA CLUB INCREASED REVENUES FROM TV, RADIO AND ONLINE LAST YEAR

Media Club's total revenues last year reached CZK 6 billion. Internet advertising is growing the fastest, but TV advertising is still the dominant position.

Total revenues of Media Club, a company that sells advertising time on TV, internet and radio, reached CZK 6 billion last year, up 4% year-on-year. The company maintained its strong profitability, with net profit of CZK 586 million in 2024 . CZK 586m. However, it was lower than a year earlier. This is according to the company's results presented in its annual report.

The sale of traditional television advertising continues to be a key source of revenue for Media Club. It accounts for 70% of total revenues. In 2024, it reached a total of CZK 4.2 billion and increased by 2.5% year-on-year. Internet advertising continues to be the fastest-growing segment, with almost one-third year-on-year growth and total revenues of CZK 314m in 2024. CZK. Revenue from radio advertising sales surpassed the CZK 1 billion mark and increased by 5% compared to the previous year.

The company's CEOs Marek Singer and Lukáš Kubát said in the annual report that Media Club had a number of successes in 2024. The TV series Polda VI, Na vlnách Jadranu and Sedm schodů k moci were successful. The ZOO series also maintained a stable position. The radios represented by Media Club achieved their highest ever market share of 45.1%. The company further developed the sale of online advertising, especially video advertising, banner space and programmatic sales. Sales through the HbbTV platform also strengthened significantly, where new demographic targeting was introduced.

Last year, Media Club launched Prima Play, an on-demand audiovisual service that allows media houses and website operators to enrich their content with Prima Group videos while increasing advertising revenues. Since April last year, the company has also expanded its representation to include streaming platform Canal Action, which offers sports content including the English Premier League and WTA tournaments.

Media Club represents FTV Prima 's media on the advertising market (i.e. all TV stations of the Prima Group), as well as Óčko, Barrandov group channels, Paramount Network, children's channels Nickelodeon, Nick Jr. and Nick Toons or Retro. From 2024, it also represents the streaming service Canal Action. In radio, Media Club has the largest representation in the market, including Impuls, Evropa 2, Frekvence 1, Kiss, Beat, Country, Rádio 1, Signál, Bonton and Dance rádio, and from 2025 onwards also Rádio Čas, Rádio Time Rock and instore radio Penny. In the online environment, it represents the Prima Group's websites and projects, including the Prima platform, as well as the Impression Media network with dozens of partner websites.
