The TV Nova Group recorded growth in its financial results in 2024. Revenues from ordinary activities reached CZK 9.1 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 16%. Net profit increased to CZK 1.19 billion, and operating profit exceeded CZK 2 billion. This is according to the company's annual report for 2024.
"2024 was a turning point for TV Nova. The way people watch TV is changing, and so are viewers' expectations. And it is precisely in these changes that we want to play a key role," said executives Daniel Grunt and Šárka Švecová in their introductory assessment. They added that Nova is developing an ecosystem in which linear broadcasting, streaming, online, and social networks complement each other functionally. It is not just one channel that is key, but a combined approach. According to the executives, the company has also successfully implemented its strategy and invested in content, technology, and branding.
