The second series of the reality show Zrádci is heading to Prima TV and the prima+ platform in autumn.
The Prima television group has finished filming the second season of the strategic reality show Zrádci. It plans to air it this autumn, as it announced on its social media over the weekend. In addition to its main channel, it will also be available on its video platform prima+. The second season will once again be hosted by Vojtěch Kotek.
The second season was filmed at Křivoklát Castle from mid-March to mid-April. The castle was closed to the public during filming, but has been open to visitors since 12 April.
The first series of Zrádci was broadcast by Prima last autumn. In linear TV broadcasting, it mainly attracted younger viewers, achieving an average share of 20% in the 15-54 age group . In the universal 15+ audience group, the average viewership of the programme was around 460,000 viewers (source: ATO-Nielsen). The prima+ platform, where all episodes except the final one could be watched a week in advance, attracted the most new subscribers than any other programme.
The basic principle of the programme is an entertaining detective game called Městečko Palermo usíná (The Town of Palermo Falls Asleep). The principle of the game is that groups of contestants complete daily tasks, and each night a group of traitors eliminates one of the participants from the game. The remaining participants have the opportunity to vote to reveal the alleged traitor and eliminate them from the game. Unlike the actors, the viewers know who the traitor is. The programme is broadcast under an international licence (originally titled Traitors).
