The Prima Krimi SK channel, which will start broadcasting on September 1 in the afternoon, is betting on one of the most popular genres of television programming.
The Prima Group will launch its fourth localized television channel in Slovakia on September 1 in the afternoon. Prima Krimi SK will follow the content of the Czech channel Prima Krimi, which focuses on crime and detective series. The new station will be offered to subscribers of paid cable, satellite, and IPTV services in Slovakia.
Following the television channels Prima SK, Prima Cool SK, Prima Love SK and CNN Prima News, Slovak television viewers will now have the opportunity to watch another new thematic channel from the Prima Group.
"We are delighted by the growing interest in broadcasting our channels on the Slovak television market. It is this interest that has enabled us to bring a record number of our own premiere programs, including licensed formats, to Prima SK this fall. At the same time, we can bring more attractive content to Slovak thematic channels," said Marek Singer, CEO of the Prima Group.
Prima Krimi SK will offer a number of the most-watched series from Prima Krimi's program (Vraždy v Kitzbühelu, Vraždy v Brokenwoodu, Vraždy v Midsomeru, Julie Lescautová), as well as other titles. The series Vraždy v Midsomeru will also be added to the program later this year.
The Prima Group has been operating on the Slovak television market since 2017, when it entered the market with the Prima Plus television channel, now Prima SK. In 2020, it also began officially broadcasting its CNN Prima News multiplatform news channel in Slovakia. In 2024, the channel Prima Cool SK, aimed primarily at younger men, and Prima Love SK, aimed primarily at female audiences, were added to the programming offer of Slovak operators.
