The entertainment programme Koťák Live has been running for ten months and, according to the producers, has reached more than 2.5 million unique viewers.

The entertainment talk show Koťák Live has completed its first ten months on air. Since its premiere in August 2025, the programme has, according to its creators, released more than 90 episodes, featured over 100 guests, and achieved a total reach of over 2.5 million unique viewers across platforms.

The format is designed as a multi-platform project, utilising television broadcasts, online distribution and podcast services. Full episodes air on the Óčko channel, followed by repeats on Óčko Star and then on YouTube, Stream.cz, DVTV Extra, podcast apps including Spotify, and other digital platforms. The content is available free of charge on these platforms.

In addition to full episodes, Koťák Live also utilises clip distribution on social media. Short segments and interviews are intended to extend the reach beyond the premiere of individual episodes. According to the producers, the average episode reaches between 150,000 and 200,000 viewers across all platforms, whilst clips from selected episodes add a further hundreds of thousands of views.

“After the first ten months, we can see that Koťák Live isn’t just a single programme on a single platform. Each episode is broadcast on Óčko and Óčko Star, on YouTube, in podcast apps, on online platforms and in short clips on social media. It is precisely this combination that makes it a hybrid format,” said producer Marek Leffler.

The programme’s YouTube channel is approaching the 100,000-subscriber mark. In total, Koťák Live’s social media profiles are approaching 200,000 followers.

“From the start, we didn’t want to just do an interview with two people in armchairs. Koťák Live is meant to have the energy of a live show, but at the same time it has to work where people actually watch content these days,” added presenter Jakub Koťák Kotek.
