Since October, the Prima Group has unified the form of its TV programme available on the HbbTV platform with the version used by users and subscribers of the prima+ video library. One of the innovations is, for example, the colour differentiation of the programmes.
The updated version of the programme includes the display of photographs of individual programmes and brief information about their content. Users can more easily find a programme that is currently being broadcast or available to watch online. A new colour coding system provides greater clarity - a red border indicates that a programme is currently live, green indicates that it can be viewed online, while yellow indicates that the programme is not available for viewing.
The unification of the visual interface of the two platforms makes it easier to navigate between the traditional TV offering and the online video library. Prima is thus continuing its strategy of linking its digital services to offer viewers a seamless transition between linear broadcasting and online playback of shows on the prima+ service. Within linear broadcasting, it is available at the touch of a red button on the remote control on TVs with HbbTV. An internet connection is required.
