Conference programme
Media and Journalism in the Digital Age
AI is fundamentally shifting the ways in which we seek information and how content is created. The role of the journalist is changing faster than ever before. While podcasts and social networks are gaining momentum, traditional media are looking for a way to retain the trust and attention of audiences.
- A media debate on the future of media with the heads of the biggest Czech media houses and key internet players. The discussion will be held by Libuše Šmuclerová (CNC), Daniel Grunt (TV Nova), Matěj Hušek (Seznam.cz) and Vít Nantl (VLM).
- Filip Rožánek from DigiZone.cz will add his review of "20 years of love and hate" of the Czech media towards the Internet, including key turning points that changed the way media create and distribute content.
- Čestmír Strakatý and Filip Titlbach from Deník N will talk about where the line between journalist and influencer lies today, how trust is built in the digital environment and what the advent of paid content has brought.
Artificial intelligence in the lead role
Search engines are undergoing a revolution - generative models and Google's AI Overviews are starting to rewrite the rules of the game. How are the strategies that websites and e-commerce sites have built their traffic on for years changing? What challenges does marketing face? And what impact is this having on the media?
- Josef Šlerka from NFNZ reflects on whether AI is gradually "milking" the web itself, and what this could mean for the future of media.
- Tomáš Novák from Marketing Miner will then offer a practical perspective - showing how to use AI in content strategy, where it makes sense to deploy AI-based tools and where they can do more harm than good.
- The topic of AI-driven marketing will be taken up by Zdeněk Valut from Elevaty.ai. He will show how marketing processes should be transformed and what skills marketers will need.
- What do a toll collector, an associate editor and an SEO specialist have in common? Martin Malý from Economia will tell you.
Marketing inspiration
Social media is changing not only formats but also user behaviour itself, and TV screens are no longer just the domain of linear broadcast advertising.
- Vojtěch Lambert from LCG New Media will bring the latest data and trends on content creation for social networks, what works today and which formats are gaining the most attention.
- Attorney Petra Dolejšová will outline the most interesting recent cases that have rocked the online world and explain what to take away from them for your own marketing.
- Josef Čapek from Teads will show how CTV brings the principles of digital marketing into TV campaigns and how to significantly streamline intervention and measurement thanks to an omnichannel strategy.
- Tatiana Lisá from Sweet.TV will offer a European perspective: why CTV is booming, what benefits personalization, measurability and the use of FAST channels bring, and why it can be more attractive to advertisers than traditional linear TV.
