The Prima Group has published its consolidated results for fourteen of its companies for the first time ever. Television advertising remained the dominant source of revenue.

The Prima media group has published its consolidated financial results for 2024 for the first time. The total revenue of the fourteen companies reached CZK 6.936 billion, with EBITDA of CZK 1.712 billion.

The Prima Group consists of fourteen companies operating in various segments of the media market. ‘Thanks to this diversity, we are able to offer our clients comprehensive media services and carry out their campaigns conveniently under one roof,’ said CEO Marek Singer. ‘This year, for the first time, we are presenting consolidated financial results that approached the seven billion crown mark. This is an exceptionally successful period, confirming the correctness of our strategic direction and new segment management.’

Television advertising remained the dominant source of revenue, but other components of the portfolio are also increasing their share. Radio stations associated with Radio United Broadcasting and other brands such as Impuls, Evropa 2, Frekvence 1, Bonton and Dechovka recorded significant growth. Radio revenues approached one billion. Digital media also reported growth, particularly prima+, CNNPrima.cz and the Media Club and Impression Media platforms. Online revenues increased year-on-year and approached half a billion.

This year, the Prima Group introduced a new management model that divides its activities into five key segments: Television, the prima+ streaming service, Radio, Digital Media and Distribution & OTT. The aim of the change is to strengthen the group's market position, speed up decision-making and improve its ability to respond to new trends and client needs. ‘I am convinced that the new division will enable us to monetise content even better and target specific audience groups,’ added Singer.

The Prima Group's media ecosystem includes thirteen nationwide television stations, six radio stations, dozens of web portals and the CNN Prima News brand. Media Club handles advertising sales for more than 300 media outlets across television, radio, the internet and print. Other major players include Impression Media (online), COOLLAB (social networks), PlayZone (e-sports) and WeLove Media (communication services).

The group also includes entities such as Prima Originals (content creation), Prima Technologies (IT and technology), AV Technika (production equipment), Prima Doma Media (hobby segment), CAR PR Media (automotive), MediaWeb (online portals) and Playpress (publisher of Playboy). According to its own statement, Prima is building on a multi-platform approach with the aim of reaching all economically active residents of the Czech Republic and offering them effective, tailor-made communication solutions.
