14. 4. 2026 TV Nova and FAMU are jointly launching the next academic year of the CME Content Academy, a unique one-year educational programme featuring intensive practical experience in television. Applications are open to graduates of bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes in film production who see their future in the world of television. Applications are being accepted from 1 to 31 May 2026.

13. 1. 2026 In 2026, the Film and Television Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU) will celebrate 80 years since its founding. One of the oldest film schools in the world, it has prepared a programme of screenings, discussions, distribution activities and multimedia events to mark this significant anniversary, mapping its history and current work across disciplines and generations. A rich past and continuity "Eighty years of FAMU is a reminder of our rich past, but also a confirmation of the living continuity of our school, which is constantly changing along with the world around us. Across decades and historical contexts, FAMU has managed to maintain its role as a place that offers students a base for free creative thinking and the search for new artistic expressions. I am glad that today it is also a place where students and teachers can openly connect with the world," says FAMU Dean David Čeněk.

20. 6. 2025 The educational programme CME Content Academy, focused on training television creators, is undergoing a major transformation. After three years in Brno, it is moving to Prague, being shortened to one intensive year and newly established in cooperation with TV Nova and FAMU.
